UVa-Wise students honored in Who’s Who
Forty-six students at The University of Virginia’s College at Wise were honored this year by Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.
The yearly publication includes the names of students from UVa-Wise who have distinguished themselves through their involvement in the life of the College. These students are chosen by the campus selection committee from a pool of nominations submitted by faculty and staff.
The criterion for selection is based on academic achievement, service to the community, leadership in extracurricular activities and potential for continued success. The UVa-Wise honorees join an elite group selected from more than 2,000 institutions of higher education.
