The University of Virginia’s College at Wise will celebrate Women’s History Month with a series of lectures set for each Wednesday during March. Each lecture will take place in the Rhododendron Room of the Slemp Student Center at 1 p.m.

The first lecture begins on March 7 with Anne M. Coughlin. Coughlin is the University of Virginia Lewis E. Powell Jr. Professor of Law. Women in Law is the topic of her lecture.

Emily Dotson, UVa-Wise assistant professor of English and director of Wise Writes, will lecture on Women in Literature on March 15.

Jennifer Hall, an associate professor of biomedical Sciences at East Tennessee State University’s Quillen College of Medicine will lecture on March 21 on the topic of Women in STEM.

Kendall Rainey, director of athletics at UVa-Wise will lecture on Women in Sports on March 26.
