The Southwest Virginia Early Childhood Conference is the region’s premier FREE event for educators in PK-3, PK-6, Head Start, Day Care providers, and education students. In addition to a wonderful keynote address by author, Seymour Simon, the day includes a special presentations by Marcia Invernizzi, developer of PALS, co-author or Words Their Way and Book Buddies, and  children’s music artist, J. Lucas Miller, breakout sessions, and a host of educational displays, door prizes, light lunch, silent auction on SVEA’s themed teaching baskets, a variety of vendors, and a Teacher’s Market for you to buy/sell teaching items.
