SFC Jeremey Foley was born in Fairfield, California. He joined the Army in August of 2007 and attended Basic Combat Training at FT Benning, GA to be a Mortar men (11C).
During his career, he has served as a Headquarters Platoon Sergeant, Section Leader, Squad Leader, Gunner, Assistant-Gunner, and Ammo-Bearer. He participated in Operation Enduring Freedom during three campaigns from 20090603-20100530, and 20120304-20121211. He was also deployed to Europe during Atlantic Resolve in 2019.
SFC Foley has been assigned to the following units: 2-12 4-4 at Fort Carson; 6 years, Presidential Salute battery at The Old Guard: 3 years, ¼ CAV at Fort Riley for 3 years, SMSI at Ohio University; for 2 years, and currently serving as a SMSI at UVA Wise.
His military and civilian education includes the US Army Ranger School, Air Assault School, Sexual Harassment and Assault Prevention Program, Master Resilience Training, Advanced Leader Course, Basic Leader Course, Infantry Mortar Leadership Course, and Light Wheeled Vehicle Course. SFC Foley is currently enrolled at Western Kentucky University pursuing a degree in criminal Justice.
