Join us as we listen to Allison Scherer, Ph.D., new faculty in Biology at UVA Wise. She will tell us about her educational experiences, graduate studies, and career path. She will also briefly discuss her research plans for students interested in conducting research on campus. She earned her PhD in Microbiology at University of Maine. She is currently in her first year as an assistant professor at UVA Wise.
