Cybersecurity Instructor/Coordinator of Cybersecurity Programming: The University of Virginia’s College at Wise has an opening for a full-time, non-tenure track Cybersecurity Instructor/Coordinator of Cybersecurity Programming Position. This teaching position with administrative functions will be housed in the Math and Computer Science Department at The University of Virginia’s College at Wise and will work closely with The Office of Economic Development and Engagement. The position will be responsible for the development and teaching of programs/courses in cybersecurity for the computer science and software engineering programs as well as economic development outreach initiatives. The primary responsibility is to teach and develop programs. Faculty hired in this position will be required to teach courses in credit and non-credit areas. Teaching schedules may include days or evening hours on and off-campus. Office hours for advising and student support are also expected to be maintained. The setup and management of a cybersecurity lab will also be required. Salary will be commensurate with the education and experience of the applicant. Qualifications Required: A Master’s degree in Computer Science (or a related field) or equivalent occupational experience working in the information and cybersecurity field. Qualifications Preferred: Applicant should possess knowledge of a variety of instructional technology applications, such as Blackboard, Moodle, etc. A wide range of coursework and/or teaching experience throughout Computer Science subject areas or Software Engineering is preferred. Also preferred is demonstrated experience in curriculum development; excellent written and oral communication skills; organizational skills and demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations of college faculty, staff, students and employers. Assistant/Associate Professor for Entrepreneurship and Innovation

Chair of Department for Language and Literature/Professor of Spanish

Assistant/Associate Professor in Strategic Communications
