Jimson Weed, UVa-Wise’s bi-annual editorial journal, is now accepting submissions for its spring 2015 edition. All submissions are due by Feb. 16 and can be sent to Damean Mathews at, Gillian Huang-Tiller at or by dropping them off at the Jimson Weed office located on the third floor of the C. The buzz of a hundred micro-drones will fill the air at the University of Virginia's College at Wise Convocation Center on Saturday, February 21st beginning at 9 AM as the first of its kind flight competition is held among participating Girl and Boy Scouts and other youth from throughout Southwestern Virginia and East Tennessee to measure the "Top Guns."
