Student Theater Festival set for Dec. 5-6

Theater students at UVa-Wise are celebrating the arts on campus with a weekend of events in the Gilliam Center for the Arts. The Student Theater Festival, a fundraiser to help students attend the Southeastern Theater Conference, begins on Saturday, Dec. 5, at 4 p.m. in the black box theater. It features performances by two local bands performing punk, rock and bluegrass. After the bands perform, the festival will feature an open mic event.
