Student Funding Requests

The Office of Academic Affairs is pleased to support research and creative activities for students. Generally, individual students may receive up to $500 per academic year, although additional support may be available if the demand does not exceed the total budget of $10,000 per semester. Requests for funding must come from faculty mentors and can cover travel costs to conferences or project sites (preference for travel with the faculty mentor) and material costs directly related to student participation.

Requests will be considered once each semester: September 15, 2023 and February 1, 2024. Requests for summer funding will be solicited separately. Please note that decisions may take up to two weeks, so plan accordingly. If you are planning to attend a conference and have not received confirmation that an abstract has been accepted, you may go ahead and apply. Confirmation will be required before funds will be released.
