Overview

To major in French, students must take courses that bolster their knowledge of French civilization, literature, and art, and choose from courses in phonetics and linguistics, composition, and/or teaching French. Classes in French literature include a variety of offerings that range by time period and genre. To minor in French, students should complete 18 credit hours in French, 12 credits of which need to be at the 3000 level.
