Fall 2026 Housing Application Information
IT has been working diligently to resolve the issue affecting the Roommate and Room Selection Portals. Unfortunately, this appears to be a system error within Jenzabar, which hosts the my.uvawise.edu portal. We will manually contact students in the order of their lottery numbers to collect roommate and room preferences.
The good news: You will know your housing assignment sooner and secure your preferred space, as assignments will be made promptly once your response is received. We are very sorry for this error, but we will be making it right!
Please ensure that you are keeping a lookout for your email from wisehousing@uvawise.edu requesting your roommate and room/building preference. This will be sent to your UVA Wise email address. We will still go in order of the lottery numbers; therefore, if you have lottery number 1, you will still have the option of any space on campus, and so on. The only difference is that you will not have to select a roommate/room - less work for you! Please do not email your request to wisehousing@uvawise.edu without receiving an email from us first. Again, we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience.
Here is how to submit your housing application:
- Using your UVA Wise credentials, log into my.uvawise.edu.
- Click on the “Students” tab at the top.
- Scroll down to the “Residence Life” box.
- Select the "Fall 2026-2027" session in the dropdown box.
- Select “View housing application.”
- Fill out the six tabs and submit!

Overnight Guest Registration Form
All residential students must fill out an overnight guest registration form at least 24 hours before the guest arrives.
