Management Information Systems

Overview

The Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems degree is designed to provide students with a set of courses providing management and information systems concepts beneficial to those aspiring to an executive/administrative management position in technology-based positions and to provide the background necessary for graduate studies. MIS is a dynamic field requiring computational and critical thinkers, a multi-perspective lens to see both details and the big picture as well as a dedication to working within a global environment. 

Students in this program have the opportunity to gain experience through paid internships providing experiential learning and professional skills development at leading companies. The program offers exceptional academics as well as leadership opportunities to explore advances in systems through a variety of student organizations, grant work, and programs. Concentration areas include management, systems, and cybersecurity. 

Graduates in this program will be able to integrate into professional areas which experience rapid change with constant opportunities for growth. Additionally, students have been accepted to graduate schools to continue their field of study exploration and advances in MIS.
