Request for Extended Stay (Spring Break)

There is a $26.00 fee per night for approved students to stay over Thanksgiving Break, charges will be applied to the student account in the Cashier’s Office. Official College breaks where Residence Halls close are not included in Fall 2026 Housing fees.

The deadline for requests is Monday, November 9, 2026 at 5 p.m.

Students can request emergency funds through the Advancement Office or Valerie Lawson.

Unauthorized visits or returns to the residence halls will result in student conduct charges and housing fees. Students found in residence halls without prior approval will be assessed improper check-out fees and may be removed from College property with assistance from Campus Police. Students permitted to remain on campus during a specified break period must abide by the Terms & Conditions of the Housing Agreement and any additional regulations that apply specifically during break.

I understand that dining services are not available on campus during the extended stay period and that I am responsible for my own food.

I understand that guests, including other students (residential or not), are prohibited in the residence halls during the designated extended stay period.

I understand that I am responsible for turning in my room key at the time I leave campus.

I understand that Resident Assistants are not on duty, so in the event I need assistance or have an emergency, I will call Campus Police or 911.
