Kari Varner graduated with a BA in History from the University of Virginia’s College at Wise in 2007. While a student she was a member of Theta Phi Alpha sorority, Phi Alpha Theta and Gamma Sigma Alpha honor societies. After graduation Kari continued her education at ETSU studying Chemistry.
Before joining UVA Wise’s ROTC staff, she spent the last 12 years working in the optical industry. In her free time Kari enjoys traveling, reading and spending time with her husband Tyler and children Taylor and Tucker.
