Pro-Art Presents The Battle Of The Daves: Dave Eggar And Dave Shenton Duel At UVA Wise
“Dave & Dave: The Battle of the Daves” is a genre-bending musical performance that combines refined virtuosity with sharp, understated humor, inspired by the late Victor Borge. The two performers, Dave Shenton (piano/violin) and Dave Eggar (cello/piano), engage in a dynamic musical exchange, each pushing the other to greater heights of creativity and skill, resulting in a hilarious, virtuosic and original concert experience. At the end of each performance the audience ultimately crowns a winner, following an evening of breathtaking musicianship, clever comedy and a Star Wars inspired duel.
Dave Eggar and Dave Shenton will engage in musical battle on Sunday, November 8th at 2 p.m. in Cantrell Hall at UVA Wise in conjunction with Pro-Art's 50th season and the W. Campbell Edmonds Concert Series. The performance is free and open to all. For more information and to make reservations, please visit proartva.org.
