Options to Request Your Transcript
Order transcripts online through Parchment. Mail or electronic delivery available for alumni, current students, and former students.
2. Current Students: My UVA Wise
If you are a currently enrolled student and/or have a current UVA Wise email, request a copy of your official transcript through My UVA Wise. Find the electronic request form by logging into the portal, clicking the Students tab, selecting Electronic Student Forms from the menu on the left, and then clicking the link Official Transcript Request Form (Current Student).
Note: Transcripts requested via the portal are processed within 2-3 business days and does not have the “Hold for Grades” option.
3. Alumni/Former Students: My UVA Wise
Alumni and former students may request a copy of official or unofficial transcripts through My UVA Wise. Select the Alumni/Prior Students tab, select Electronic Student Forms from the menu on the left, and then click the link Online Transcript Request Form (Alumni/Former Student).
Note: This option is for mailed physical copies only. Electronic copies of transcripts must be requested through Parchment.
4. By Mail
Print and mail us the Transcript Request Form (PDF). Mail the completed form to The University of Virginia’s College at Wise, Office of the Registrar, One College Avenue, Wise, VA 24293.
5. In Person
Transcripts can be picked up at the Office of the Registrar. The Transcript Request Form must be completed and signed by the student before a transcript can be released.
Transcript Delivery Options & Fees
- In-Office Expedited Processing (pick-up only): $25.00 per copy (official)
- Online Request & Electronic Delivery: $3 electronic processing fee through Parchment.
- Standard Delivery via USPS: No fee
On average, transcript processing will take 3 to 5 business days. However, during office peak times, processing time may increase to 7 to 10 business days. Processing time does not include delivery time for the United States Postal Service.
Transcripts may NOT be requested via e-mail, fax, or by telephone. All paper transcripts are mailed. We will not fax transcripts (faxed transcripts are not official and the University cannot ensure confidentiality for any faxed documents).
