Projectile Motion: More Geometry, More Physics

Projectile motion is the first topic in an introductory physics course that can boggle the minds of students. It is important to start with basic observations and discussion much earlier in math, geology, or other science classes. In physics we work with units and in math we usually don't use any units. I would like to explore the idea of units and scale. In recent years, I have been trying to find more examples that might motivate the proper integration of physics into mathematical projects and vice versa.
