Fundraising efforts for the initiative totaled $103,871,543.55 and will have an impact of $131,275,796.51 thanks to the College’s ability to secure matching funds from the University of Virginia’s Bicentennial Scholarship program.

Beginning this fall, every full-time undergraduate student at UVA Wise will receive a cellular-connected iPad, complete with a smart keyboard and Apple pencil, ensuring students have 24/7 access to learning, collaboration and creativity wherever they go.

Micah Nida, owner of The Cluck Truck, has been providing free meals to flood victims and storm-impacted communities across the region since Tropical Storm Helene hit in September.
