UVA Wise MLK Jr. Remembrance event Held Virtual Tonight Due to Inclement Weather

Due to inclement weather, the 26^th annual Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. Remembrance Program sponsored by the University of Virginia’s College at Wise will be held virtually tonight, Jan. 17.

The candlelight march has been cancelled because of safety concerns.

At 7 p.m., UVA Wise will livestream the broadcast of the Remembrance program, presented by the College’s Black History Month Committee, celebrating the legacy of civil rights icon Dr. King.
