Educators, students and community leaders came together recently to share the benefits of experiential learning at a new regional conference at UVA Wise.

After a highly competitive national search, UVA Wise announced today that Candice Stadler, Ed.D., has been named the College’s new Dean of Students.

On May 14, 2022, the members of the Class of 2022 graduated with friends, family members, faculty and classmates present. 235 graduates crossed the stage, earning either a bachelor of arts, bachelor of science or bachelor of science in nursing degree.

After successfully completing four years in the Army ROTC program, cadets Lacey Austin, Jacob Johnson and Gabriel Tolley took the oath administered by Captain Kyle Brenay U.S. Army (Ret.) officially commissioning them as second lieutenants.
